Most "waterproof" lights fog up from the inside. Heat from LEDs creates pressure changes that suck moisture through tiny gaps. Our hydrophobic breather valve system equalizes pressure while blocking water molecules—eliminating the internal fogging that ruins light output.

We go further than standard waterproofing. The LED waterproof floodlight driver sits in thermal-conductive resin potting, creating a second barrier. What's the real difference between IP65 and IP67?

IP65 handles heavy rain and hose spray. IP67 survives temporary submersion up to 1 meter. Choose IP67 for ground-level installs or flood-prone areas.

How long will it actually last in a coastal environment?

With proper installation, expect 10+ years in marine conditions. The 316 stainless steel and C5M coating are the same materials used on naval vessels.

What about the cable connections?

The fixture is waterproof, but standard cable connections are not. Use IP68-rated junction boxes (we provide specs). Water travels inside cable jackets—this is the most common failure point.

Can I dim these lights?

Yes. Specify 0-10V or DALI dimming when ordering. Standard models are non-dimmable.

What happens if the driver fails?

The 5-year warranty covers driver replacement. Potted drivers rarely fail, but when they do, the modular design allows field replacement without changing the entire fixture.
