What Makes These Lights Different
Engineered for Real Maritime Challenges
We've spent two decades solving the specific problems commercial vessel operators face:
Salt Corrosion That Destroys Standard Fixtures
Our specialized die-cast aluminum housing uses a three-layer anti-corrosion coating system. Unlike powder-coated competitors, this treatment prevents galvanic corrosion in salt spray environments. The marine-grade stainless steel brackets resist pitting even after years of constant exposure.
Voltage Fluctuations That Damage Electronics
Ship electrical systems vary wildly—from engine startup surges to generator load changes. Our wide-input LED drivers (AC90-305V, DC127-431V) absorb these fluctuations without degrading light output or shortening component life.
Vibration That Loosens Connections
Traditional fixtures fail when constant engine vibration loosens internal wiring. We seal all connections with marine-grade potting compound and use vibration-dampening mounting systems tested to MIL-STD-810 standards.

Lens Degradation From UV and Saltwater
Standard polycarbonate yellows and cracks within 18 months of marine service. Our UV-stabilized lens material maintains 95% optical clarity after 5+ years of continuous saltwater exposure.

Designed for Your Specific Operations
Commercial Fishing Vessels
During those critical haul and processing times, you need reliable deck lighting to work at night. Mount these boat deck flood lights on aft gantries or spreader bars for consistent lighting of sorting tables and gear handling areas.
Recommended setting: 5000K (natural daylight simulation) color temperature and 60° beam angle for wide shadow free covering of working decks.
Cargo and Container Ships
Modern ports have 24/7 loading operations. • Deck personnel need an unobstructed view for crane spotting, lashing and cargo inspection.
Recommended configuration: 4000K neutral white, 40° beam angle – delivers sufficient lux levels at 12m mounting heights yet reducing light leakage into accommodation areas.
Search and Rescue Vessels
For emergency response teams, fast, dependable lighting is critical for person-in-water searches and debris field scanning.
Recommended design: Dual zone arrangement with 30° spot beam for long range scanning and 120° flood beam for close range operation.
Offshore Support Vessels
Platform supply vessels are used to transport cargo between moving ships and permanent structures. Good illumination helps to prevent accidents in the handling of important goods.
Recommended configuration: 140°×60° asymmetric beam pattern – Wide lateral coverage throughout width of deck, while limiting upward light causing glare on buildings on platform.

Common Questions Answered
Will these work with my ship's electrical system?
The universal input range (90-305V AC or 127-431V DC) covers virtually all marine power systems. Whether you run 110V, 220V, or DC battery banks, no additional transformers are needed. The driver automatically adjusts to your voltage.
Do these interfere with navigation equipment?
No. The LED drivers meet CISPR 25 electromagnetic compatibility standards, preventing interference with VHF radios, GPS, AIS, and radar systems. We've installed these on vessels with sensitive scientific equipment without issues.
What maintenance is required?
Minimal. Check mounting bolts quarterly (salt environments can cause loosening despite our thread-locking compound). Rinse lenses with fresh water annually if operating in particularly harsh conditions. The sealed design eliminates internal maintenance.
Can I get custom color temperatures?
Yes. While we stock 3000K, 4000K, and 5000K as standard options, we can customize from 2700K (warm white, better fog penetration) to 6500K (cool daylight). Some operators use mixed temperatures—warmer tones for working areas, cooler tones for observation zones.
