LED Overhead Crane Lights – Professional Safety Lighting for Industrial Operations

Engineered for Safety. Built to Last.

Xi'an Razorlux is a specialist in LED overhead crane lights for high demanding industrial situations. With more than 20 years of expertise in power supply engineering, we have created lighting systems with 400W high-intensity output and 130LM/W efficiency, providing clear vision and lower energy expenses. The systems are built to survive in demanding environments: broad voltage tolerance (AC90-305V), harsh temperatures (-40°C to +60°C) and tough IP67 protection provide dependable operation in foundries, warehouses and marine terminals.

Why Industrial Facilities Choose Razorlux

Built for Extreme Conditions

Conventional lighting isn’t a solution in an industrial environment. Our Led Overhead Crane Lights alleviate three major problems:

Vibration Resistance

Solid-state LED design resists 5G-10G vibration loads without flicker. No weak filaments, no loose parts, just reliable lighting throughout the operation of the crane.

Power Surge Protection

Wide voltage drivers (AC90-305V) with 6kV-10kV surge protection. When crane motors are switched on/off voltage spikes are absorbed and not transferred to your lighting system.

Corrosion Defense

IP67-rated seals and 316 stainless steel mounts are resistant to seawater, chemical and humidity. Successful at maritime ports and chemical factories where traditional fixtures rot in months.

Led Overhead Crane Lights

Superior Visibility Where It Matters

High-intensity projection creates shifting safety zones around crane hooks. LED projection is more visible than floor marks that fade, or get covered by trash, dust, smoke or heavy traffic.

Customizable Coverage

· Narrow beams (15°-30°) for mounting heights up to 100 ft.

· Warehouses with low ceiling (wide angles 120°-140°)

· Red or blue alternatives to enhance your safety procedures

Proven Longevity

Metal halide fixtures endure 10,000-15,000 hours and need relamping often. Our LED systems last for 50,000 to 100,000 hours of operation – that’s 5 to 10 years of continuous operation with very little maintenance.

Real-World Impact:

A steel factory replaced 48 metal halide lamps with Razorlux LED systems.  The result was a 68% savings in energy and no light replacements for three years.

Application Scenarios

Steel Mills & Foundries

Smoke, heat and airborne particles hinder normal illumination. High temperature drivers (rated to +60°C ambient) sustain output close to furnaces. Thermal stress from radiant heat may be withstood by tempered glass lenses.

Challenge Solved: Operators have unobstructed sight lines during ladle transfers and ingot handling, even when air conditions decrease vision to < 10 meters.

Packaging and Transportation

Automated Warehouses

Forklifts and cranes meet in dense storage areas to generate blind corners. LED projection warns ground staff 3-5 seconds before cargo approach aisles, crucial in facilities where auditory warnings are lost in equipment noise.

Challenge Solved: Visual warnings break through ambient noise and give early cautions in aural blind areas.

Marine Ports & Shipyards

Saltwater corrosion will ruin conventional electrical fittings in 18-24 months. Our ASTM B117 compliant coating and sealed electronics increase operating life up to 8-10 years in coastal settings.

Challenge: Gantry cranes run 24/7 in rain, fog and mist and do not fail with lights.

Packaging and Transportation

Manufacturing Plants

Pedestrians, AGVs and cranes cross-traffic need dynamic safety zones. Moving light projections change with the location of the crane to provide visible limits as loads pass through manufacturing areas.

Challenge Solved: Visible, moving exclusion zones created to reduce near-miss events.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Red vs. blue LED—which color should I choose?

Red follows universal danger/stop conventions. Blue provides higher contrast on gray concrete and remains visible through dust. Consider your existing safety signage and floor surface type.

Q: Will voltage fluctuations damage the lights?

No. Wide-input drivers (AC90-305V) handle unstable crane power lines. Built-in surge protection (6-10kV) absorbs spikes from motor switching.

Q: What's the maximum mounting height?

Standard models perform well up to 30 feet. For 70-100 foot installations, specify narrow-beam (15°-20°) high-power units that concentrate projection on work surfaces.

Q: Can LED lights interfere with crane controls?

Our fixtures include EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) shielding—zero interference with wireless remotes, PLCs, or radio systems.

Q: How do they handle constant vibration?

Shock-absorbing PCB mounts and reinforced solder joints prevent component fatigue. Safety cables provide secondary attachment. Solid-state design eliminates vibration-sensitive filaments.

Q: Maintenance requirements compared to metal halide?

Metal halide: Relamp every 12-18 months, ballast replacement every 3-4 years.

Razorlux LED: Minimal maintenance for 50,000-100,000 hours (5-10 years continuous operation).
