12 Volt Led Boat Deck Lights for Professional Boats

Cut Power Bills by 80% Without Sacrificing Brightness

If you've ever had to choose between running deck lights or preserving power for navigation systems, you know the frustration. Traditional halogen fixtures pull 33A at 12V—that's almost half your battery capacity on a typical 70Ah house bank.

Our 12 volt LED Boat Deck Lights draw just 7.5A while delivering brighter, more consistent light. That's the difference between recharging every 2 hours versus running a full 8-hour night shift.

12 Volt LED Boat Deck Lights main features

Built for Saltwater, Not Swimming Pools

Real Marine Engineering Standards

Most "marine" LED lights fail within the first season because they're pool lights with a higher price tag. Here's what actually matters:

What Fails First

Pool-Grade Lights

Razorlux Marine Fixtures

Bracket Corrosion

304 Stainless (rust within 6 months)

316 Marine-Grade Stainless

Water Ingress

IP65 (splash-resistant)

IP67 (full submersion-proof)

Power Surge

No EMI shielding

CISPR 25 certified (won't interfere with VHF/AIS)

Warranty

1 year (if you're lucky)

5 years parts & labor

Why we use 316 stainless steel:The molybdenum content prevents pitting corrosion in saltwater. We've had fixtures running on Pacific trawlers since 2018 with zero bracket failures.

product-1-1

Three Use Cases That Demand Reliable Lighting

Night Fishing Operations

Challenge:Rigging live bait and gaffing fish requires high-visibility lighting, but white lights ruin your crew's night vision for spotting fish.

Solution:Our amber spectrum (2700K) option delivers 11,700 lumens without destroying dark adaptation. The 60° beam angle focuses light on the work area—not into the eyes of your captain on the flybridge.

product-1-1

Ferry & Workboat Safety Lighting

Challenge:Gangways and working decks need IK08+ impact resistance to survive dropped cargo hooks and passenger luggage.

Solution:Our polycarbonate lens withstands 10-joule impacts (equivalent to a 5kg weight dropped from 20cm). The EMC-compliant drivers eliminate radio interference—critical for VHF distress channels.

Compliance Checklist:

· RMRS certified (Russian Maritime Register—required for international commercial vessels)

· IEC 60945 maritime navigation standards

· USCG-compliant for passenger vessels (Title 46 CFR)

marine flood light testing process

Cargo Deck Inspections

Challenge:Container lashings and hull inspections require wide-area lighting, but flooded decks cause lens fogging.

Solution:The 140°x60° beam option covers 180 sq ft from a single fixture at 3 meters height. Dual-seal construction (O-ring + silicone gasket) prevents condensation even during pressure washing.

Why Razorlux? (The Unfiltered Version)

We Started Making Power Supplies in 1998—Not Lights

Our first 8 years in business were spent manufacturing industrial LED drivers for China's telecom infrastructure. When we entered marine lighting in 2006, we already understood what 99% of competitors didn't:thermal management is everything.

The LED chips don't fail—the drivers do.Cheap marine lights use off-the-shelf drivers designed for air-conditioned offices, not engine rooms with 60°C ambient temps.

Our proprietary driver design of 12 volt led boat deck lights:

· Conformal-coated PCBs (prevents corrosion from salt air)

· Aluminum core circuit boards (dissipates heat 8x faster than FR4)

· Soft-start circuitry (eliminates inrush current that trips breakers)

Common Questions (From Real Customers)

"Can I dim these lights?"

Yes—with one caveat. They work with PWM (pulse-width modulation) dimmers, but NOT traditional resistive dimmers (which will fry the driver). We recommend the [Brand Name] PWM controller.

"Will these interfere with my Furuno radar?"

No.Our drivers meet CISPR 25 Class 5 EMI standards—the same spec used for military radar systems. We've tested them alongside:

· Garmin 18" radome (no interference)

· Simrad HALO20+ (no interference)

· FLIR thermal cameras (no interference)

Warning:Do NOT use these with cheap eBay LED strip lights on the same circuit. The unfiltered strip drivers will create interference even though our fixtures won't.
