Each fixture is tested photometrically in our integrating sphere lab to guarantee the actual lumen output meets the IES file criteria. Thermal stress testing measures the junction temperatures of LEDs over 72 hours of continuous operation cycles. Any batch with temperatures above 85°C is rejected.

Training sessions usually demand an average light of 200-300 lux. “You need between 300 and 500 lux for competitive amateur matches.” Professional broadcast sports need 500-750 lux with uniformity ratios (U1) greater than 0.6. We provide free lighting estimations depending on your pole height, field size and use needs.

How to remove flicker from video recording?

Our LED drivers switch at frequencies >20 kHz, much above the detection threshold of cameras shooting at 24-240 fps. This gets rid of banding issues in slow-motion replays and smartphone footage.

Are these lights suitable for seashore or other high humidity areas?

Yes.  The C5M anti-corrosion coating and IP67-rated sealing guard against salt spray and moisture infiltration. For facilities within 1 km of coasts, select 316 stainless steel brackets (standard on our 1000W model) in lieu of aluminum to maximize corrosion resistance.

What is a good maintenance schedule?

Lower maintenance than HID bulbs. We suggest yearly checks to ensure brackets are tight and optical lenses clean. The L70 lifetime is around 50,000 hours which means you should get 10-15 years before light output drops down to 70% of the original light output.

Do you provide lighting arrangement design services?

Yes.  Our engineers are pleased to provide lighting simulations utilizing Dialux or AGi32 at no charge. Tell us your field size, mounting heights and goal lux levels and we will prepare a photometric report indicating fixture location, aiming angles and expected uniformity.

How does dimming control operate?

Fixtures are compatible with 0-10V analog dimming and DALI digital protocols. They may be connected to building management systems, motion sensors or manual wall controls. Dimming to 30% during practice sessions prolongs lifetime while using less energy.
